Sat Feb 25th - Annual BP Dinner

posted Feb 2, 2012 4:59 PM by David Rene de Cotret

Scouting members and their families are invited to join us in honoring the founder of the scouting movement, Lord Baden Powell.

This year’s event will be part pot luck and part catered by  4th Orleans, and its volunteers.  4th Orleans will supply and prepare chicken for all the guests, as well as supplying drinks and dessert. Beavers are asked to bring a salad; Cubs will be responsible for hot or cold side dishes; Scouts will provide buns and butter and Rovers and Venturers will be providing hot drinks. There will also be a raffle put on by the Venturer Crew – so bring your spare change.

Out of consideration for our environment we’re asking that all guests bring their own mess-kits. Full uniform required for scouting members.

Registration closes Wednesday February 22nd so be sure to complete the form attached and register with you specific sections.

Saturday February 25th 5:00pm to 7:30pm

Where:

Notre-Dame-des-Champs Community Hall, 3659 Navan Rd

Apple Day is an established Scout Fundraising event that has been in existence for many years and is our main source of funding for the Beaver, Cub, Scout, Venturer and Rover programs. The funds are used mainly for facility rentals.

It is our main fundraiser for the year, with 100% of the funds raised (less expenses) remaining with 4th Orleans.

See the attachment below for more information on your sections fundraising location.
